Dear Members of NIP Community,
On Friday, April 12, 2103 - after 40 years, 5 months, 10 days, 1 hurricane, 1 blizzard, and 2 rescheduled dates - NIP finally celebrated its 40th anniversary!
The vibrancy and vitality of the NIP community came through loud and clear that evening, as 225 alumni, faculty, supervisors, staff, colleagues, and friends gathered to honor our four founders:
Jim Fosshage, Ken Frank, Henry Grayson, & Clem Loew,
and commemorate the occasion with free-flowing spirits, speeches, films, photos, and food.
It was truly gratifying to see everyone enjoying themselves and the NIP community, as community members mixed, mingled, and enjoyed the evening, the company, and the view from Manhattan Penthouse. The only "complaint" I've heard is that there were so many people there that it was hard to talk to everyone you wanted to talk to!
If you attended the event, I thank you for being a part of NIP's history and memories. If you were not able to join us, I encourage you to spend a few moments here to watch this film about NIP's beginnings.
I'm already looking forward to our 50th anniversary celebration - and I hope you are, too!
Ellen Fries, President
NIP Board of Directors
