The Child and Adolescent Training Program
Psychologists

  • Doctoral degree with a major in psychology.
  • One year of supervised experience in a recognized clinical setting is required. Eligibility for New York State certification.

Psychiatrists

  • Medical degree from a recognized medical school. Completion of a minimum of one year of psychiatric residency (on going while at NIP TI) at an approved institution.

Social Workers

  • Master's degree from a school of social work. One year of subsequent full time, supervised, clinical experience. Eligibility for N.Y.S. certification.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurses

  • Master's degree from an accredited program.
  • One year of subsequent full time, supervised, relevant experience. N.Y.S. license.
