National Training Program
Course of Study

This four-year program consists of six courses per year. Most of the courses are scheduled for 3-day weekends and meet at NIP TI.

Certification

With the completion of all required course work, supervision and personal analysis, the candidate will be considered for certification. Upon the approval of the NTP Training Committee, the Certificate in Contemporary Psychoanalysis will be awarded to the candidate.

Training Expenses

Tuition for each course is $590. Supervisory fees are set uniformly at $90 per supervisory session. Candidates pay the cost of their own psychoanalysis. The hourly fee for personal analysis is set by the candidate and his/her analyst independent of NTP. Telephone and travel expenses are the responsibility of the candidate. NTP, when possible, will arrange for group hotel rates for New York City seminar participants.
